Method Statement

A method statement documents exactly how a hazardous task will be carried out safely. It is a legal requirement under Construction Regulation 7 for all designated work on South African construction sites, and is increasingly expected across maintenance, industrial, and facilities management environments.

This template provides a repeatable, professional format: task breakdown step-by-step, hazard per step, corresponding control measures, required PPE, responsible persons, emergency arrangements, and a multi-level approval block. Used correctly, it forms a key exhibit in any audit or incident investigation.
